Yüz Estetiği Nedir

Plastik Cerrahi bölümünün alt dallarından biri olan yüz estetiği; özellikle belli bir yaştan sonra dış etkenler nedeniyle yüzde görülen deformasyonları tersine çevirmek ya da yapısal olarak görünümünden rahatsızlık duyulan yüz bölgelerini değiştirmek amacıyla kişilerin kendi isteklerine bağlı olarak gerçekleştirilen ameliyatlı ya da ameliyatsız uygulamaları içermektedir.

Yüz estetiği operasyonları genel olarak tüm yüze uygulanabileceği gibi yalnızca yüzün belli bölümlerine de uygulanabilmektedir. Yüz; ağız ve çene, yanaklar ve burun, alın ve göz çevresi olarak üç ana bölüme ayrılmaktadır. Hastaların rahatsızlık duyduğu bölümlere müdahalede bulunurken yüzün bütünselliğine dikkat edilmektedir. Bu anlamda, uzman hekimlerin detaylı yüz analizinin ardından hem şikayetçi olunan yüz bölgeleri hem de komşu bölgeler belirlenerek uygun tedavi yöntemine karar verilmektedir.
